An anorak an especially weatherproof jacket mostly made from art fibers with only one opening for the head. Therefore, besides, it concerns so-called slip jacket.
Nowadays, however, light sports jackets with a continuous zipper are often called also anoraks. One carries anoraks, above all, in autumn if the wind can become rather strong.
